The company’s multi-million-pound European groupage hub near Dartford Crossing has seen a 15% year-on-year increase in European road freight volumes, handling a record 40,000 shipments per month, according to its latest financial results.

Europa Road’s network of sales offices across the UK and Ireland manage shipments from domestic depots to Dartford, where they are linked with daily direct services to a partner network of 42 continental hubs.

The company has introduced a no-questions-asked money-back guarantee for its exports from the UK and Ireland to Europe, underpinned by its confidence in its speedy delivery.

Europa attributes its success to its investment in Europa Flow, a Delivery Duty Paid (DDP) product that addresses post-Brexit transit delays. Since its launch, Europa Flow has facilitated the delivery of 300,000 shipments, with 50% of all UK groupage exports now using DDP.

The company’s innovation has also helped to reduce transit times, with current transit times between 3.1 and 4.1 days to various European countries.

“We’re known for being innovative and we’re delighted to have returned to offering pre-Brexit delivery times in support of exporters, who have been struggling to grapple with delays on time-critical consignments over the past few years,” Adrian Redmile, Branch and Sales Director at Europa Worldwide Group, comments. “We’re only able to provide these much-reduced shipment times because of our investment in both Europa Flow and our operations, as well as using the best network in Europe. This combination means we have the volume of consignments needed to offer daily departures to most European countries.”

Europa is currently running transit times to Hungary in 4.1 days, Italy in 3.9 days, Denmark in 3.5 days and Germany in 3.1 days.  It’s “no quibble” Money Back Guarantee is available on all European freight options – groupage, part and full loads, and dedicated vans.

“From the outset we work to find innovative and pioneering solutions, which solve customer challenges.  Since we launched the Money Back Guarantee we have almost doubled the number of customers using this premium service who can’t afford to gamble with late deliveries,” Adrian added.

The announcement from Europa Road comes as new checks are imposed on EU plant and animal products destined for Great Britain. As Europa Road generally avoids transporting such products, its trucks should not be noticeably impacted by any potential border friction the checks entail.
