New software tool for carriers not only plans loading, but also accounts for the specific company needs

This solution is the new version of the popular Goodloading planner. It was launched in July, but work on developing the tool continues. Goodloading 3.0 has been enhanced with new algorithms and plenty of completely new functionalities.

You can read this article in 3 minutes

Using the app, the user is able to create a complete loading plan in just a few minutes, taking into account, for example, axle loads or GVW. In addition, they have access to loading data, such as free and occupied space in square metres, cubic metres and LDMs, as well as the total cargo weight. The final design can be seen in a 3D visualisation, allowing manual adjustments to be made to the layout. Design files can be downloaded as a PDF or shared as a link. New functionalities that allow preparation of more advanced designs are particularly interesting.

Learn about new features to streamline your loading process:

Points on the route

When carrying out transport with multiple loading and unloading points, you can specify which loads are to be loaded or unloaded at specific locations. The app distributes loads in such a way that those to be unloaded at intermediate points are easily accessible, with no need to unload the entire vehicle or semi-trailer.

Indication of loading method

When adding a semi-trailer to the app, you can specify whether it is loaded from the top, the back or from the right or left side. This data allows the app to distribute loads in such a way as to facilitate the unloading of the vehicle or container.

Enhanced stacking of loads

For each load that is stackable, you can additionally indicate the maximum weight of the stacks, the selected loads to be stacked and the degree of support. This allows you to stack a larger load on top of a smaller one. Stacking on the floor is an additional functionality that comes handy if you want to distribute loads evenly over the semi-trailer floor area.

Rotating and handling long loads

The app allows loads to be stacked at an angle by rotating them along the X and Y axes. If you select the relevant option, long loads can extend beyond the outline of the semi-trailer.

Pipes and drums

The app works well not only for cubic loads, but also for pipes and drums. The algorithm proposes to arrange the pipes in a honeycomb-like pattern. This further improves the use of available space.
