Weighing 44g, the CODiScan scanners can be worn on various parts of the body. The design incorporates Datalogic’s Green Spot technology, and the scanners are versatile, modular, and reliable.

The CODiScan scanners are designed to enhance operations across various sectors:

  • Transport and logistics: the scanners are suitable for use in distribution centres, warehouses, e-commerce and intralogistics, optimising packing, picking, inbound/outbound processes, put away, sorting and order fulfilment.
  • Retail In-Store: scanners can streamline inventory, assisted selling, shelf replenishment, warehouse management and back-office inventory management.
  • Manufacturing: the scanners are useful in work in progress (WIP), traceability and quality control processes.

The CODiScan Series introduces the Smart Scanning System, which includes a smart aiming mechanism of up to 1.5m, audible and visual feedback, and three high-visibility LED blades for feedback from any angle up to 180 degrees. The scanners have a 2-shift battery life, performing up to 12,000 scans on a single charge. They also offer multiple and expandable charging options and a full charging cycle of only 2 hours.

A multifunctional key at the heart of CODiScan provides flexibility. The trigger function allows users to adapt the device for low-intensity operations and facilitates quick disconnection and reconnection to the Host. The fully adjustable and versatile hand-trigger reduces the need for multiple models. The separation of the trigger system from the fabric allows for easy glove washing, extending the accessory’s lifespan.

CODiScan addresses the integration challenges of modern wearable scanners with mobile backend terminals, computers, and tablets. Datalogic’s Aladdin App simplifies pairing with Android devices and offers a seamless configuration experience. Meanwhile, Gateway Connect manages the pairing of up to seven devices with fixed computers, providing stable connectivity.
